The diff needs to be pulled out and redone. I might have to bail on this one unless I can pull an allnighter on friday to get it right on saturday for the drags. I checked out the track yesterday and it's looking a little deeper than a 2wd run.

ok Chris just called & said if you decide to do it on Friday night he'll come to your place first thing Saturday morning & help you put it back together

There is no drive from the diff to axle. The tailshaft locks up with the transfer but no connection to the axles so it's internal.

Thanks Ros. Looks like an allnighter so I am going to pull it out on friday after work and have a good look at it early sat morning and with a bit of luck get it back in and running for the drags. Better go now and eat some carbs [hehe]

I'll be picking up my new air con compressor today as the old one is really bad now.And pulling the alternator out cause it is still dropping volts and it has been worse in the last week.So will have to sort those out for the mud drags myself.

Well got the diff out and its not good news. 2 busted lugs and a sheared lug. apparently when the pins (lugs) and springs went in they were put in back to front so instead of the springs pushing the lugs it was positive lock in the lokka and no give. So im out of the drags and dont worry about tomoz morning chris I have to order a few new springs.

Bugga! That's not good news Darren :?

You are still going to watch the action and cheer on Jacka Whoo & Leaf Sprung aren't you?
Since you've already paid your $20 to compete they should allow you to pay the extra $5 for a family entry to spectate.

Give the organiser Dave a call in the morning to let him know you're out & if you can pay the extra $5 his phone number is 0403 836 598

Cheers
Ros

Was a good night, a bit slow at times and not the best organised event but was still good to watch, something different for the kids to see and great atmosphere.

Congrats on the Jack & Adam for taking 2nd place for standard class in the mud drags, well done mate it was great to watch you and cheer you on & congrats to Nick for a few good runs also, was good to see the big girl not blow her motor 8)

Cheers
