I was out at the steps today. Pretty damn wet and slippery and that was just in my offroad thongs! Should be there.

Thanks everyone for coming, it was a great day out.
Thanks to Azza for being tour guide, special thanks for all that helped me get through some very nervous sections.
Only 1 recovery needed all day, which is amazing considering the tracks, was to the 80.
Only damage to the Lux is a cracked drivers side mirror mount(from one of my big wheels up moments), the passenger side guard badly bent(from the side lugs on the TSLs), and a bead coming off the rim(very slightly), but the tyre did last the whole day.
I changed the tyre before getting on the black top, bent my guard back into shape and fitted a new cable tie to hold it in place, and the mirror will be fine, maybe some race tape or super glue or rubber cement.
I had a great day, learnt lots of new tracks, met some new faces, lifted wheels lots of times, had quite a few close calls. But finished the day.

When you work hard, you play hard! (refreshment required) Thanks to azza for his patience (hehe) sorry for the roof mate but a smoked clutch= no drive so cheers for the winch up. Good to meet everyone and hope to go wheelin again soon when the clutch goes in!
