Hey ive been on here for a while now and have some spare time so i thought id do a build up.Quick run down of whats been done and what im doing.

I bought my lux last year it started off as an 88 model with h/t 31s.Got it for $1000
Everything else was stock.
The day i bought it
Image
Went straight to the bush
Image

First thing i did was a 2.5'' BL then extended shackles, braided brake lines all round and 35s.
Then played with the leafs and the front shaft kept coming out so i cut it and extended it 40mm
Image
Image
Day i got the 35's
Image

Long story short i broke my foot riding my moto and let my girlfriend have a drive at hillsborough quarry. She was goin alright until she rolled it.
The night she rolled it

The hole she drove into

So the next day i went and saw some mates at all 4x4 at kotara and they hooked me up with a 96 model duel cab in pretty good condition.
2 days later it was at my house.
And a week and a half later the cab was on,bolted down and wired up.
I also went through 2 full casts in this short time by walking on it lol.
New body with 31s and lockers(terrible flex)
Image

Drove it for a bit like that then got some ifs rears and hacked them up for flex.
braced up my rear diff and made some u blot flip kits
Image
The only damage ive done on the new cab so far is a little bit of sill damage from bouncing off line.not too hard to fix though
Image

A bloke offered to swap my 35 bfgs, rims and some 4.88's id just bought for $200 for duel lockers so i met up with him the next day in sydney and the deal was done.
So back to 31s.
I installed the lockers and picked up a brand new compressor, inflation kit and ez deflator from my mate at arb for $350.

Ended up Wing the rear leafs permanently from too much flex and not enough leafs in the pack.
Image

So i ordered some things from locktup including hi steer, front n rear leafs, shock hoops, dropped front crossmember, adjustable brake valve and a few other little bits n pieces.Got an awesome price.
I also ordered some disc brake conversion brakets from a bloke in QLD.
All of this arrived on tuesday morning 4 days after i ordered it and it had to come from WA.pretty quick i think.
Image

I just recently installed the rear leafs and adjustable prop valve and it has a whole lot more flex than the ifs rear did.I also cut off my rear bumpstops off the chassis so i can extend them.

somewhere along the way i got these from pom(scumlux from TT09)

I will be doing the disc brake conversion tomorrow,so ill get heaps of pics of that and a few other things and post them up.

Ill also be installing the hi-steer,shock hoops, dropped front crossmember, front leafs and castor wedges next weekend.

I will be making an RHS drive shaft as well as a low profile crossmember during the week
Image
Also making this tray

Thanks for reading, let me know what you think :)

cheers fellas.

got the motor in on sunday and had it fired up today but its running real rough and carby is playing up.
Ill have to have another look at it tomorrow in the daylight.

I just want the bloody thing running already lol.
seems like i fix one thing then need to keep spending money on small things to make it all work.

also ordered crawler gears and twin sticks which should be here thursday or friday.
Hopefully have them in next weekend.

Also after some 4.88s or 5.29s if anyone has some.

got my gears and twin sticks in on thursday.
came in on wednesday and only took 5 days from the states.
havent had a chance to try them out yet but looks like i will have to ben my gear stick so it clears the twins properly.
At the moment it is very close and may pop out of gear.

Fixed the carby but the engine still wont idle properly and i have no idea why lol.

Started modding the tray mounts to lift it up higher and move it back slightly and am going to sink the fuel cell into the tray floor some more.

Also cut a spare drivers door i had into a half door.Pretty happy witht he way its looking.
will cut my spare passenger door when i can be bothered lol.

Hoping to have everything done and have the motor run in before the 8th october.
Then ill throw the 38s on and take it for a test and no doubt break something lol
