Going to keep it pretty stock cause I need the weight over the rear axles. I will probably do a few bits here and there to it to make it stronger.

sliders look great mate, i think i'll have to make a trip to the weld wizard soon. Definitely the full tray is the best option as my tray is heavy and i still like to carry some extra weight for ballast. So your putting in a steel checker floor I assume? Should look awesome when finished mate. There is a sydney Hilux meetup at ZigZag with the 4wd action forum in june and a fair few going. Be a good opportunity to check out other lux's for ideas as well as some good 4bying at zig zag. We have to get the all aussie lux's down there to show em how its done :D

Took off the tub for a fit up. I was not happy with the line up so I have decided to cut off the rails and re weld them in a better position. this will set it directly above the chassis. Ziptied the lights and number plate and drove it over a ramp to check for rear tyre tuck. No probs but the tray will need to sit an inch higher than it is now. When get the checkerplate for the tray i will then cut the rear off to shorten it, slide the plate in then weld the back on. Here's some pics of the fit. :D

Decided to hold off on Stage 3 until the tray is done. It needs a few mods done to it to make it all fit. I will take the ct20 down to Benson's for a once over then begin the fit up. Hmm Lux with a turbo. can't wait. :D

Changed the motor/gearbox and lsd oil on saturday. The bludger came over for a quick tailshaft grease up but left no beers....On sunday jason (bogged) came over early and began detailing the blue beastie. Andrew(drewin) loaned his bbq out and cooked a great lunch. I worked on the flares and greased up everything with a nipple. Many bears later the job was done. A good wash, cut and polish then a waxing. the interior copped it as well. We even did a paint job underneath. BIG thanks to Jason and Andrew for their help.
