BUCKETOFBOLTS,

Postby bucketofbolts » Wed Jan 02, 2008 9:50 pm

well i thought i would post up my car,
it started life as a family wagon, 31's, alloy bar work, that kind of stuff,
its a 4.2ltr petrol, auto on gas,

then i had 33's sitting doing nothing, so than it was modify time,
3" body lift was first,
33"s where fitted,
then i sold my modified zook,
that funded a 4" spring kit, so now it sat 7"s over standard, and with my wife 8 months pregant i was not in the good books, a milk crate fixed that,

started replacing all the arms, with 3rds heavy duty arms, steering, draglink, lower and upper rear arms,

then after a few comps, the front alloy bar was dead, so i picked up a arb winch bar for $100, had it modded to suit the 3" bodylift,

that was it for a while, then i picked up 6" springs cheap,
so i fitted them, modified the cross member, turned the tail shaft around, longer brakes lines, adjustable panhards,
as i had picked up RAW4X4 shocks as a sponsor and had shocks measured to suit the springs,

so after all that, i trimmed the gaurds to fit 38" boggers,
also picked up a tube rear bar for $200,

also has a 3way 65ltr fridge/freezer
so now it sits 9"s over standard plus what ever the tyres raise it by,
lockers are next on the list, and 4.6:1 diff gears, and 35's
so enough about that, here's some pics, (will post up more as i find them)
