diesel leak

Postby dieseltech » Sun Jan 02, 2011 8:23 pm

well as most of you already know the troopy developed a diesel leak, the injector pump requires removal and rebuiling. after some deep thought and some harsh words i have decided to get the pump rebuilt and give the cruiser a new lease on life, a new set of injectors too i think. while the pump is out i'm thinking of throwing the lockers in and doing some work on the rear leaf pack to keep me busy and to keep my mind off the cost of things. i'll make some calls on tuesday to choose who will have the lucky task of doing the work for me..

troopy

Postby dieseltech » Tue Feb 08, 2011 8:43 pm

hey mate, the troopy is going good, never stopped going, just started leaking  .. still havent installed the injecter pump, the lockers, the stereo, the 1.5 inch snake racing wheel spacers, the the new battery tray or the rear leaf spring bushes. i still need to remove about 3-4 leafs from the rear leaf pack too, thinking of going parabolic rear with pro comp long travel shocks... not sure yet, i want the rear to out flex a standard patrol ATLEAST... :D :D hows the disco? got your tyres yet? or the front diff welded?
