nice :D
disco's running like a champ now, replaced a few consumable parts on the engine and fixed my intake pipe. tyres and lift are now on the back burner as i had to spend nearly $1000 on a vet bill... so not really doing anything extreme off road for a bit... :(
oh well, shit happens :)
It begins..... :D

Nice one mate. Any scrubbing can be sorted out pretty quick. Now you can play with the 80 :D

major work in progress

Postby dieseltech » Sat Apr 02, 2011 8:03 pm

i pulled the IP out of the cruiser this afternoon, hopfully it doesnt rain tommorow so i can get the new timing belt and new IP in.. its proven to be a pain in the arse so far with a lot of swearing and knuckle scraping due to the new height of the engine bay, i have been sitting up on the radiator doing all the work.. i'm hoping to have it all finished by tuff trucks so i dont have to try and sqeeze all the gear into the tiny jeep..

Top tip mate. Inside information says if you have to sell it, get an 80 and you wont look back. Victoria loves 80s
