TIE RODS

These tie rods i got from the states are too long and leave no adjustment for wheel aligning.I'll to get a section taken out of the middle and re-welded,can anyone suggest anyone or anywhere to get it done.Need to get them in before long weekend rove park beckons :D

Chris reckons you'll be able to get them machined down, just find a machine shop and see what they reckon :wink:

I need to take a bit off them either end has 70mm of internal thread for the rod ends so would need to chop and take about 2 inches in the middle and re-weld.I think they are solid in the middle casue the end of the thread is blanked off and there is a bit off weight in em.
