89 Jackaroo CV shaft removal

Postby ozzybloke01 » Wed Oct 12, 2011 4:31 pm

Hi to all,
My son owns a 89 Jackaroo SWB to which we have to replace the LH CV shaft as the outer joint is knackered and is cheaper to buy whole new shaft, my question is who do you get the damn thing out of the front diff :?: :?: :?: :?:
I have no trouble getting the outer part to slide out after removing the outer retainer circlip on hub but cannot move the inside part. Is there a trick to this or am I missing something ie a inner circlip :?: :?:
I had a bit of a search on google but didnt get any real help so if there is anyone that can help would be very gratefull.

Cheeers Ian :)

How'd you go Ian? If you're still having trouble just give a CV place a call & ask, the hubby hasn't done a Jackeroo before so can't help sorry. When you do get it out post up how you did it as it may help someone else with the same issue down the track.

Cheers
