clutch issue

Postby jeepers » Tue Jun 10, 2008 9:40 am

Gday Cammo,

Have a problem with the clutch in my Jackaroo. On the weekend when i put the clutch in there was a grinding noise, but only at full travel.Pulled the inspection cover off and got a mate to use the clutch and when he release it the fork was going back its full travel. Now is that a slave cylinder problem or something else thats fouling it.By the way its not bent.

cheers

Sounds like the thust bearing has giv'n up, If the sound is only there with the clutch pressed, it could have built up mud in it and crapped the bearing
Sorry dude but the gearbox would have to come up if that is the case.
