Noisy Alternator

Postby TOYRV6 » Mon Jul 21, 2008 5:06 pm

I have a noisy alternator, sounds like the bearings are all dried out..... what I want to know is, is there any way or technique I can use to quiet it down? or am I better off just getting another one?

get it rebuilt and put new bearings in it or replace before it gets worse

Alt is the type of part you don't want to fail in the bush, best to get it done by a auto elec.
